There are numerous lengths and amounts of products that are challenging to store in the furniture and joinery production industry. You need to make the most of the space available in your building, maximise productivity, and minimise stock damage for everything from panel products and sheet materials to softwoods and hardwoods. You must take your mechanical handling equipment into account as well as the storage choices offered for any product lines that require hand loading.
Our in-house project and design teams have delivered a variety of turnkey solutions for the industry. Across the whole of the UK, Stakapal is the only manufacturer that provides Cantilever Racking & Pallet Racking as well as a full range of warehouse racking systems.

What type of Racking do I need?
Cantiliver Racking
Cantilever Racking is the perfect solution for storing products of all lengths. Consisting of vertical upright columns with arms attached at different heights. Cantilever racking arms can be easily adjusted to meet specific measurements and load-bearing needs. While double-sided designs generate storage on either side of the centre column, single-sided racks can sit flush against the wall. Conventional, Free Path and Guided Aisle Cantilever Racking are all part of our entire offering.
Pallet Racking
For storing small quantities of panel products and sheet materials, our Stakrak SR2000 series Pallet Racking provides an affordable solution. There is a solution for most storage requirements thanks to our wide selection of rack frames and beams.
A – Frame/Vertical Frame Racking
You could choose one of our A-Frame/Vertical Racks for hand-selected products. This style of racking system uses a slanted frame in the shape of an “A” to support the item’s length as it is stored vertically. If you have the floor area, it can be set up as double-sided or set up single-sided for storage against a wall.
Pigeon Hole Racking
Our Pigeon Hole Racking make it simple to reach particular product ranges that are housed horizontally in separate compartments for relatively small, manually loaded quantities. Vertical beams that can either be permanent in place or moveable depending on storage requirements divide the pigeon holes.
Racking Safety
Stakapal is a SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association) approved manufacturer meaning all products are independently tested to ensure they are designed, manufactured and installed according to strictly defined standards.
Having an ongoing commitment to safety, Stakapal’s experienced in- house installers are SEIRS registered (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme). This is a unique initiative by SEMA where training for the safe and correct methods for the installation of racking is given.
According to PUWER, racking systems are considered work apparatus and you are therefore responsible for keeping them in good condition. The HSE recommends the use of SEMA Approved Racking Inspectors as technically competent to carry out yearly racking inspections.
Stakapal’s SARI’s visit each site, conduct a thorough investigation and produce a detailed report.
